Web Standards

We create clean, semantic XHTML files for content, external CSS files for style, and external JavaScript files for behaviour. We use progressive image and Flash replacement techniques, leverage popular JavaScript libraries like JQuery, and implement for graceful degradation wherever possible. The websites we create are search-engine friendly, accessible, and easy to maintain.

We love Content Management Systems and our Content Management System of choice is WordPress, although we have used the likes of Drupal and have even developed our own bespoke Content Management System when needed.

Content Management Systems simplify the publication of web content to websites, in particular, allowing content creators to submit content without requiring technical knowledge of HTML or the uploading of files.
